Drum lessons are available at Limelight Studios, just a few minutes from Norwich City Centre. The teaching studio is well equipped with 2 drum kits and audio playback equipment. There is also a comfortable waiting area for parents and students.

I use Rockschool grades within my teaching syllabus as I believe they are one of the ways to motivate students towards regular goals. They are a great introduction to reading music, timekeeping skills and musical genres. I teach from Grades 1- 8 and also up to Diploma level.

My aim is to support and encourage each student to achieve his or her potential and individual ambitions. This could be anything from taking a grade exam, learning a set of songs so that a student is able to be confident playing in a band, to studying to gain a place at University.

I have been both a professional musician and drum tutor for 17 years. My experience ranges from teaching individuals from age 6 years all the way up to adults of different backgrounds, abilities and learning needs. I have a passion for my instrument and I strive to pass this onto each and every student I work with.

I have had many varied jobs in the industry, including playing in a jazz Quartet on a Cruise Ship to playing in a signed band, touring both in the UK and Spain, recording and performing for live Radio and TV sessions, as well as playing in bands with song writers, performing in Musicals, and playing regularly with Function bands.
